Welcome! This is a little bit about us....
All Posh Shih Tzus is located in Massachussetts. We are a small in home breeder. We, as a family, remember the excitement when we got our first Shih Tzu Posh, whom we felt it was appropriate to name this website after. Our son Ethan was initially afraid of dogs, so we thought he might get over his fear by getting a small dog. We were happy to learn that Shih Tzus make great family pets. They not only have very low health risks, but are also Hypo-Allergenic which is a plus when Grandpa comes over to visit us! We soon fell in love with the breed and realized having one wasn't good enough. So...we started learning about size, color, and shapes of Shih Tzus and researched what makes one more expensive then the other. We then set out on a mission to find the BEST array of colors, sizes- and most importantly- personality of Shih Tzus with great Pedigrees. Later, we began to think that maybe other people would enjoy owning a pup like ours! With the help of my husband who has his zoology degree, we began to breed. He also helped teaching and training us so that we quickly began to breed our shih tzus together as a family.
We will always remember when Posh, had her first litter! It was just an incredible experience! Her pups were so adorable, it was hard to see them go, but we felt very happy they went to very loving families. We want to share our joy in owning a Shih Tzu as a pet with your family! We can empathize with those of you looking for the perfect new family member. It can be a little scary at first, so we try our outmost to make this experience the best possible for you. We believe in educating you about how to take care of your new puppy and also guarantee that all our pups are healthy and ready for when you pick him/her up! We make sure they have been fully vaccinated- that's all 3 shots- Vet examined, dewormed PLUS microchipped in case he/she becomes lost. We truly feel confident about what we have learned about Shih-Tzus and are also willing to share all our knowledge with you!
